A Look at Veteran Homelessness

As of January 2016, 549,928 people were homeless in America. Of these 39,471 were veterans. In Philadelphia alone, there are at least 440 homeless veterans on the street today. In fact, there's been a 25% increase in veteran homelessness since 2011, despite the fact that there are claims that the rate of homeless veterans is "virtually zero."
